BRAZIL, northeast region. Saturday, september 22 (2012). At two states of the northeast region of Brazil, Pernambuco and Alagoas (states), a strong glare, a sphere of white light, crossed the sky and fell into the sea, scaring the population.

The photos are published in the internet. Some thank that the object was an UFO; other, a meteorite but, this monday, astronomers of the Observatório Astronômico da Sé (city of Olinda, Pernambuco state), belive that the sphere was, in treu, a satellite. 

The scientist of the Observatory, Alexandre Evangelista says: Despite the observations, it is important to say that we only can know what it was when we find the object for an exam.

Even with the uncertainties, analyzing brightness, astronomers have concluded the object is metallic, probably composed of iron and nickel. Moreover, because of the distance traveled, they realized that it came from hundreds of miles of high and that it was huge. 

The astronomer and mathematician, Antonio Carlos Miranda, did researchs along with other experts of the matter and also believes there is a good chance of object be part of a satellite. The scientist tries to query the Brazilian Space Agency to find out if there were records of this type of episodes.

Parts of satellites falling as meteorites is common. There is much spatial junk and leftover materials which, sometimes, are attracted by gravity, explains Miranda. These objects do not usually cause damage because they generally fall in the oceans. In the case of asteroids, often disintegrate upon entering the atmosphere.

The object that caused the event that was saw in Pernambuco, Alagoas and even at the state of Minas Gerais probably caused no damage. If it was a meteorite, the likely size and weight could cause a great impact and how he fell into the sea, a waves increase," said the astronomer, who believes that a satellite would have less mass and therefore would result in minor damages (MIRANDA).

Recently, on September 21 (2012), not just a satellite or piece of space junk fell to Earth. A rain ofthese debris occurred in the UK:

The bright lights were seen streaking through the sky in the North of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. They were seen as far as the Shetland Islands in Scotland as well as in Wales and Norfolk in East Anglia. Many people in Manchester, Leeds and Blackpool have also been busy posting pictures of last night's event.(SHEAD,2012)

The matter of the space junk already was theme of discussions in 2009, when the collision of two satellites on  Feb. 10 (2009) in the quadrant of the sky in Siberia was considered a catastrophic event because because the scattered fragments in Earth orbit formed a kind of shield of trash and the concentration of  debris was considered a potentially, a danger. The orbit of the Earth seems a polluted beach!

The Strange Bubble in Florida Sky

USA. 2012 has been a year full of unusual events. About the UFO sightings and strange phenomena in the skies of the world, ufologists claim that the frequency of these events have quadrupled over the last year

One such event, really enigmatic, happened on September 13 (2012) in the city of Clearwater - Florida, USA. Several witnesses who observed, photographed and filmed a gigantic bubble that appeared and stood hovering over the nearby forest described the phenomenon:

The object [or formation] seemed to be floating, moving to the west at an altitude muti nearby trees. It was mysterious. We thought it was a UFO. But it did not look like one.

Researchers are analyzing the images to try to explain the nature of the bubble but until now (in this September 2012), they did not reach any conclusion.

The Mystery of the Astronomy of the Mayans

The image above is the what which has been, currently associated, in websites, blogs and newspapers - with the Mayan calendar. But this is not the Mayan calendar. This is The Sun Stone, the AZTEC Calendar also called Mexica or Stone of the Five Eras or, even Haab a name that, yes, belongs to one of the mayas calendars.

The Sun Stone is exposed at the National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico City - Mexico and - in fact, possesses points of congruence with the chronology of the Haab, one of the Mayan calendars, the Cuenta Larga or the "Long Count of Mesoamerica".

It was found during excavations in Le Zocalo, the main square of Mexico City, on December 17, 1790. It has a diameter of 3.7 meters and weighs about 24 tons.

The truly Mayan Calendar is not recorded in a single block of stone or parchment of any kind. But is scattered in various monuments, numerous, petroglyphs and rock paintings distributed in a wide area of Central America, especially at Guatemala.

MAYAS/COSMO. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. At sunset, the astronomical phenomenon of alignment between the Moon and Mars, produced an eclipse of the called - "Red planet" - which was occulted by the silver disc of the lunar crescent. The event draws attention not only for its rarity of occurrence but because this is one of the cosmic phenomena most highlighted in the Mayan calendar, the same that has been rumored in this year (2012) for its alleged prophecy of the End of a Time in December 21 next.

The scholars consider that this alignment is one of the most important events of the calendar before the end of an era anticipated by Mayans in their predictions.

MAYANS CALENDARS

The knowledge about the culture of the Maya - and other pre-Columbian nations - is very scarce. This is due to the religious fanaticism of the Spanish colonizers (thus like the Portugueses, in Brazil). They understood that was essential to destroy the native knowledge that they considered like contraries to biblical texts, like demonic things, pagan heresies

Interestingly, the little that has been preserved, is due to the zeal of some of these same religious - most enlightened - that kept parts of this knowledge practicing the smuggling of these documents to Europe. 

Today, much of this material is preserved in the Library of the the Catholic Church West, the Vatican - and in monasteries and other institutions of the Catholic Church.

The Popol Vuh (or po'pol wu' in K'iche modernized), for example, a record of Mayan culture that includes "myths" like the Anthropogenesis, was produced in the sixteenth century, and officially dated in 1544. It is a record made ​​with the Latin alphabet but written in K'iche language.

The Mayan calendar, as far as is known, dates from the fifth century BC (500 BC according to academics). In fact, the calendar is a set of three chronological tables that inteargem each other, each one using uma contagem based in different astronomical references. They are:

TZOLZIN, with 260 days, called "the order of days" was and still is used (for native communities in the highlands of Guatemala) to marks earthly events based on sacred cycles, driven by the movements of the sun, moon, the planet Venus and the star Sirius.

HAAB, the solar calendar - a civic calendar, with 365 days.

CUENTA LARGA or Calendar of the Long Periods - which records the time since August 11 of the year 3114 BC, when synchronized with the Gregorian calendar (current, Western). It happens that this calendar, which marks the Ages since the begin of the Creation, records four "worlds", or Four Humanities - (the current is the fourth). 

The stone "pages"  of the Cuenta Larga have been found in different archaeological sites scattered in Central America, what turns your study even more difficult. This - the Cuenta Larga - is that the Mayan calendar predicts the end of a world that will occur in December 2012.

One of these "pages" or stelas of the Cuenta Larga - which are lithic monuments - the so-called Stela D, which is part of the archeological monuments of Quiriguá, Guatemala - contains a cosmogonic record that goes back to a bygone age estimated at 400 million years. How is this possible? It's a mystery.

For example of this mystery science, according with the Popol Vuh, mentioned in the Anthropogenesis of The Secret Doctrine of H. P. Blavatsky (portuguese edition):

The first men were a race whose field of vision no had limits and they had the immediate knowledge of all things, manifesting, in this way - a divine capacity of knowledge, similar to the gods...

The stone pages of the Cuenta Larga (the Mesoamerica Long Count calendar) have been found in different archaeological sites of Central America, what turns its study even more difficult. All the three calendars were inherited from cultures more ancient further increasing the mystery of the origin of the pre-Columbian peoples.

MYSTERIES

It is curious to note the banality with, currently, people and the media speak of the Mayan Calendar that, in truth, thus as many mysterious legacies of great realizations of the peoples of antiquity are simply something of unexplained.

The accuracy of astronomical knowledge, not only of the Mayans, but also of the Mesopotamians, Egyptians, Chinese, Greeks, of the Dogon, a simple tribe from Republic of Mali - West Africa among many other nations, is an enigma that has been neglected by academic science that usually attribute this knowledge to the mere systematic observation with the naked eye, of the night sky by priests and shamans.

This idea is absurd and even naive. At the same time, the same erudite and ofical science solemn despises the traditions of those cultures whose traditions - all of them - considered as mere myths or fantasies, relate their advanced knowledge with the presence, in ancient epochs of divine Masters that would have been responsible for the instruction of their ancestors, not only in relation to the stars and planets as well, to a whole set of techniques, from agriculture to metallurgy that consist in the fundamentals of a civilized humanity.

Megafauna - Bone of Giant Armadillo Found at Brazil

BRAZIL, CEARA state. At a place named São Francisco das Almas, Juá district, at the city of Irauçuba, distant 150 km from Fortaleza, capital of the state of Ceara (northeast of the country), two men, while were digging a pit, they found a enormous bone that belonged to a creature of the megafauna that lived at Brazil there, at least, 15,000 years when these creatures were extinct. 

These giant animals dominated the Earth during Pleistocene, period of the geological history of the planet, in a past that dating back more to 2 million of years ago.

According to the professor of the Department of Palaeontology of the Federal University of Ceara (Departamento de Paleontologia da Universidade Federal do Ceará), Marcio Mendes, the fossil - which was buried to a depth of 4 meters, is of a giant armadillo (in the brazilian portuguese language, the armadillo is called Tatu).

The Megafauna at Brazil reunited several species. One of these was the Pampatherium, the giant armadillo. With the size of a donkey, but much more robust, weighing about 100 to 200 kg, its shell had three ranges.

Different of the current armadillos, which are insectivorous, ants eaters, the Pampatherium was a herbivorous was not a digger of the soil . It existed there 700,000 years ago and disappeared 10,000 years ago. The Pampatherium belongs to the family of the Dasypodideos (armadillos). The specie found in San Francisco das Almas is called Pampatherium humboldti.

The Baby-horse of Nigeria

NIGERIA. According to the sources this news happened Tuesday, September 11 (2012), in Benin city, Edo state capital - Nigeria, Africa. A woman gave birth to a horse during a prayer meeting - called "Prophecy Programmes" - within an evangelical church - reported the supervisor of the Ministry of Mondial Liberation, the evangelist minister Iyamu Silva.

Although the local medical community be perplexed and denying vehemently the veracity and the possibility of a clinical fact of this type to happen, the Church presents its witnesses.

A nurse, Veronica Egiebor, and two women who provided aid to the (alleged) parturient told how it happened:  

The minister approached the woman and asked if she was pregnant. She confirmed. Then he said that the baby she was carrying was not normal and asked, "You want to go to a doctor and expel what are you carrying? Because it's not a baby, or you want to happen here?" People in the congregation started shouting "Yes".

The pastor asked to four women to donate their mantles to form a canopy around the pregnant. The men turn back. The pastor poured the anointing oil and a sachet of water on the woman and asked everyone to pray. 

He said that the parturition would start. She was balancing her body. Then she grabbed the leg of someone. She pressed and pushed harder. Something fell and she fell. When we removed the mantles everyone see what was expelled.

I've never seen this kind of thing in my life before. People called goat but it looked like a horse with a long neck and long ears ... The minister told that nobody should touch in the creature because it was demonic. Everyone ran in the confusion and some persons carried the woman though.

Iyamu Silva said: This is not strange to us. During prayers, we perceived that the woman was bleeding. I I saw that something was blocking her uterus. Yesterday ... (Tuesday, 09/11/2012) she came to my office asking for prayers. I think she was not from here (Benin City) because she said that will call her mother in her village.

The medical director of the Central Hospital in Benin City, consultant gynecologist Dr. Jerry Uwaifo does not admits the case and said that is clinically (or biologically) impossible for a woman to conceive and give birth to an animal. 

He said: A woman can give birth to a deformed child but not to an animal. Why they don't brought the woman and the creature to the hospital for they be examined?

The pastor replied that doctors can not investigate the case without the consent of the husband or of the fact protagonist. The woman's identity was not revealed.

About the allegations that the case was wrought by the Church to attract more members, Silva challenged anyone to make contestations and added: 

Every story has two sides. The truth is that God is working. Signs and wonders are normal things in this church. Nobody can predict what God can do. Silva also informed that the woman said that will make contact and that would be at the church for the day of Thanksgiving.

The general superintendent of the Church, Prince John Ogbovoh said: The baby-horse was exposed for awhile for people could see it but then was destroyed (how it should be done with the things of the devil) because when the news began to spread, the thing became embarrassing.

What this editor thinks? Thinks nothing... only, maybe... that...  anything is wrong with the eye of the creature, something that not seems organic... The journalists were not close enough to check this? Or the need to sell news generates myopia? In anyway, these are strange days... Let's meditate...
