To try to prove the existence of a werewolf, residents posted a video on YouTube. In the images in black and white, the supposed creature circulates in a site that appears to be a backyard.
 
BUT... This video isn't the imagem of the creature. In true, this video is most older than the facts that occurred at sao Gonçalo, like was searched by the news website Huffington Post reportage.

BRAZIL. BAHIA state. Thursday, FEBRUARY, 6 - 2014.  Residents of the city of São Gonçalo dos Campos, in the Metropolitan Region of Feira de Santana (hinterlands of Bahia state, northeast of Brazil), are sheltering themselves into their homes at 9 pm after the rise of rumors about the apparition of a werewolf, reported the newspaper  'A Tarde'  - the major of the region.

The "curfew" was adopted about two weeks ago, after a man, known as Pingo, has had an encounter face to face with the creature.

The man described - for a local blog  - the alleged werewolf like: A black monster, appearing to have more than 1,5 meters of height, hairy. In the occasion, the creature was writhing - as the legends tell, maybe, in middle of the process of transformation.

Between believers and unbelievers, many people took seriously the history. The retired Paulo Dias, 46, said he perceived "something strange" out of the house, on Tuesday (02/04/2014).

He said: I heard a scratching at the gate, like an animal. Then I stood quiet, in silence. I can not guarantee that the werewolf was, nor do I know if it was.

Still today, apparitions of this enchanted being are reported, specially at localities of the hinterlands of the country.

In June 2013, in the town of Palmeira dos Indios, Alagoas state (neighboring from state of Bahia) rumors that a werewolf was killed in the region and the photo above was circulated on the internet. On occasion, the image, as always raised many doubts about its authenticity and its author was ever identified.
