😱 THE BLACK SNOW AT RUSSIA

In 2019, authorities in Kemerovo were investigating the cause of the black snow that fell on three cities in Kuzbass, one of the world’s largest coal mining areas.

The cities of Prokopyevsk, Kiselyovsk and Leninsk-Kuznetsky, have a population of 2.6 million people.

Images shared by local residents show alarming scenes of a dark winter. One commented: “Is this what snow looks like in hell?”

Others say there is beauty in the snowy desolate landscapes. Local media blamed the crisis on local coal processing plants.

The general director of the Prokopyevskaya plant, Anatoly Volkov, told Vesti-KUzbass TV channel that a filter had stopped working at his plant, causing coal dust to be released at air.

At the time, the deputy governor of the Kemerovo region, Andrei Panov, who is responsible for ecology, met with local environmentalists 😂 to discuss the issue. He suggested that the plant was not the only cause of the problem.

Coal-fired boilers, car exhausts and other coal-fired plants were also to blame.

On social media, residents also complained about other plants, claiming that there was a long-term lack of environmental protection in a region whose lifeblood is coal.

'Without cleaning systems, all the garbage, dust and dirt, coal remains in the area. Our children and we are breathing this. It's a nightmare,' said one local resident.

A RECURRING PHENOMENON
The phenomenon, however, is not unprecedented; quite the opposite. Toxic black snow is already common in the area and is not necessarily linked to a single source.

“It’s harder to find white snow than black snow during the winter”, Vladimir Slivyak, a member of the non-profit environmental action group, Ecodefense, told the Guardian.

“There’s a lot of coal dust in the air all the time. When the snow falls, it just becomes visible. You can’t see it the rest of the year, but it’s still there”.

Kuzbass (short for Kuznetsk Basin) is one of the world’s largest coal mines, covering more than 10,000 square miles (26,000 square kilometers).

A 2015 report, by Ecodefense, found that citizens of Kuzbass have an average life expectancy three to four years shorter than the Russian national average and are almost twice as likely to contract tuberculosis and mental disorders in childhood.

RED RAIN

At Siberia, which would be the largest country in the world by size if it were a sovereign nation, bizarre environmental disasters are not uncommon.

In July 2018, a Siberian industrial city was drenched in a red “blood rain” when improperly stored industrial waste was dispersed into the environment by a storm.

Later, that month, a mysterious barrier of dust obscured the sun for 3 hours in Yakutia, a region that contains some of the coldest cities in the world.

2024: NOTHING HAS CHANGED

Aerial view of Krasnoyarsk

At Krasnoyarsk, an industrial powerhouse more than 2,000 miles east of Moscow, these “black sky” alerts—officially called “unfavorable weather conditions” warnings—are common.

Between the first alert in 2012 and the end of 2023, Krasnoyarsk’s 1 million residents endured 460 of these smog-filled days.

More than two weeks have been under such an alert so far in 2024, with the latest occurring earlier this month (February 2024).

On smoggy days, residents are advised to keep their windows closed and avoid being outdoors.

“I’ve lived in Krasnoyarsk since I was born, and I’m generally used to life here. But lately, even I can’t stand it,” one Krasnoyarsk resident told The Moscow Times.

"I have developed a dry cough that does not respond to any treatment, and it comes and goes intermittently. And I do not smoke or drink", said the resident, who did not want to reveal her name due to the backlash she faces as a public activist.

USELESS ECOLOGISTS
In 2017, more than 1,000 people gone to the streets to protest the never-ending succession of dark skies.

Skovorodnikov-Erlikh, a borned of Krasnoyarsk who organized these rallies, became a leader of the Za Chistoe Nebo (“For Clear Skies”) movement.

“Around 2015 to 2017, it became more noticeable, especially in winter, how everything in our city is shrouded in chemical pollution”, he said.

“This led to the formation of our public movement because certified ecologists, so to speak, only gathered for round tables and talked, but did nothing. Authorities also only made promises".

Having been prejudiced by this environmental problem for decades, Krasnoyarsk is often classified as one of the most environmentally problematic cities in Russia. Official data indicate a "very high" level of air pollution with several toxic substances present.

The most days in January, independent monitoring of air quality, carried out by citizens recorded high levels of PM2.5 — fine particles produced by the combustion of fossil fuels and biomass — far exceeding the limits considered safe.

The fact is that the cause of the situation in the region is well known to everyone, authorities and the population, but the solution never arrives due to a lack of real interest from the political powers, closely linked to those who hold the economic power of local industries, who are not interested in investing in the modernization of facilities, which date back to the Soviet era.

A devastating horde - of grasshoppers - which is decimating the fields of Argentina - 'The Cloud, is going to the northeast of the province of Santiago del Estero.

Government technicians recommend - the obvious - protect the fields (plantations). But how? The mass of insects reaches 5 km wide and 10 km long. The situation, unprecedented, began on Monday, July 27, 2015.
(UPDATED ENGLISH VERSION VIDEO)

ARGENTINA. PROVÍNCIA DE SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO. The swarm of locusts is destroying the production of an important agricultural area of the province and in the horticulture sector, for example, losses are disastrous.

According to a survey conducted by the Dirección de Agricultura Provincial (Provincial Directorate of Agriculture), the phenomenon has affected the department of Bamda, Robles, Figueroa, Beltrán, Vilmer, Villa Hippolyta, Colonia El Simbolar, Colonia Jaime, Forres and other locations.

The species of locusts is not strange tothe  regional enviroment. Rather, it is common in the province: it is of the species called 'schitocerca.

The environmental engineer Guillermo Brim commented the case: The locusts have erratic route. They change of direction according the wind direction. (And who determines the winds's direction nowadays?)

The plague has already ravaged more than fifteen hundred acres of crops of vegetables like alfalfa, onions and carrots.

BWN COMMENTS: The prognosis of lack of alfalfa, mainly - is a big worry because this vegetable is an essential ingredient for the good feeding of all the communists governments that are ruling South America after to have kidnapped  the countries, the work power and money  from the peoples of that continent..

Horrendous Worms - Another weird creatures found at Taiwan

TAIWAN. 2015, JULY. The video was originally posted on the website Live Leak, where information is scarce, what is very common on the Internet. The footage would have been made with a telephone in July 28, 2015, on the banks of a river in Taiwan.

The creatures, with their strange and frightening aspect, are animals of this planet. They are worms classified into two types: 1. nematomorpha (Nematomorpha) or 2. Gordiáceos (Gordiacea) worms.

The hair-worms are dangerous parasites and are a risk to the health of unsuspecting bathers in waters of rivers and lakes.  They can invade the human body  penetrating any cavity. And this, it must be very painful.

These worms - that are also called 'verme-crina-de-cavalo or even hair-worms belong to a family of parasites and exitem 331 known species of these beings.

Their size can vary: small, 5 cm or large reaching 1 meter in length. They are very thin, with a diameter measuring amid 1 to 3 millimeters. Inhabit salty and sweet waters of almost all parts of the world except Antarctica.

The gordiáceos are typical of freshwater and are considered semi-terrestrial animals - like these that appear in the video. Their presence on the rocks, in the landscape - indicates that, in fact, the site is located along a river.

The language also confirms that the place is a country in the Far East, Asia - where exist about 100 known species of this worm.

The fact that a group of these animals be observed in this situation, writhing on the rocks, far from the water for much time may indicate some sort of contamination / imbalance / environmental poisoning.

Marine abyss swallows beach in Mexico

MEXICO. In Los Frailes, a town in the region of Baja California South, an area of 13,000 meters of beach disappeared. The strange phenomenon was caused by specific geological event called the "cascade of sand into the sea" or "marine cascading" which are micro-earthquake and its aftershocks (tremors).

Access to the place - which is part of the polygon Cabo Pulmo National Park, environmental preservation area - was closed to residents and tourists as a security measure.

The phenomenon is a real danger for people - who can be swallowed by the sea in the event that new manifestations that simply, suddenly, can suck, to the depths, extensive portions along of the bed of beaches, draging the living beings that can, eventually - be there.

The situation is being assessed by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources with the assistance of the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONAP) and the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (Profepa). A preliminary inspection revealed that occurred a slip of sand in the proportion of 75 meters to the bottom of the coastline.

The head of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), Juan Rafael Elvira Quesada said: [in this place, exist] ...an oceanic canyon in a permanent formation. The cliff has already reached 100 meters deep and there, strong marine currents can drag anything to the bottom of the sea.

The functionary of the Fund for the Protection of Marine Resources (Fonmar) Mackaliz Juan Diego, said yet that the phenomenon on the beach at Los Frailes, in these proportions, already happened in the past, in the years 1947 and 1965.

Italy: Chemical snow is terrorizing citizens

ITALY: CHEMICAL SNOW

ITALY. Snow without clouds. Chemical snow! This strange phenomenon that has occupied in headlines of italian newspapers is terrorizing citizens of Piedmont and Lombardy. How ever, when nothing more can to be done, authorities say that there isn't motive for panic and and the situation is under control. Experts explain: the phenomenon observed in the last days (in january, 2012) is due to the arrival of cold air masses from the Arctic that reach the Pó Valey (river Pó), one of the most polluted regions of the world.

Some other scientists agree that the chemical snow isn't prejudicial for humans, animals or enviroment but, at the same time, warn thatpersons should not to ingest the substance, a greater risk to children that play on the streets and are handling this snow inadvertently. They add: the persons should avoid the contact the snow in parts of the body such as eyes and mouth. (After this warning, I would avoid to put nose out of the home).

This type of phenomenon is a combination of the fog (water vapor condensed) in cold temperatures, negative temperatures - mixed with polluted dust and other industrial waste in the atmosphere what are common in urban centers (very polluted sites) as in northern Italy. This snow, that is not really a snow - has been covering the landscape of the region. One more time, it's hour of return to read the books of the ancient prophets. Us meditate...

Neighborhood of Leblon: furious sea.

RIO DE JANEIRO (state) – On tuesday, 03/15/2011, a cyclone formed at the southeast coast of Brazil produced waves that reached 3 meter of height and wind gusts of 120 km per hour. The changes of the brazilian climate

ITATIAIA city, Parque Nacional de Itatiaia, Rio de Janeiro state.
Montains covered by snow, 1985. The event happens again in 2008.

The frozen dew in the early hours of the morning.

ALAGOAS state – It's no more possible ignore that something in Nature of Brazil is changing. The facts show that the phenomenon is global. At Brazil, the headlines that nobody never thought to read. At Brazil, the headlines that nobody never thought to read. At the country where never existed earthquakes, now, there are.

The authorities say that the tremors are normal and not offer danger to the population but, the true is that these tremors are extruding families of their houses that are seriously damaged. This problem is occurring at Ceará state eand others states og Northest region, for example.

Hail in brazilian hinterland

ALAGOAS state, january 2010.

More recently is the rainfall that is causing disasters of dramatic proportions. 2011 began with floods and mudslides that have killed hundreds of people in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais. In the same time, at Alagoas, a state of a Brazilian northeastern region, of typical tropical climate, strong winds and rain of hail are surprising the population of Palmeira dos Índios city.

The storm toppled trees, marquees of shops and flooded streets in many districts of the city. In few minutes the rain and winds destroyed the roofs of houses. Trees were plucked by the roots. Some of the trees fell on power lines. Residents of the rural area in a community radio station reported that it rained hail.

GUARULHOS, São Paulo state, september, 2010.

There isn't the first time in recent times, that the ice falls from the sky in the states of warmer weather and dry of Brazil. In March 2010, the hail appeared in the city of Santo Domingo do Cariri in the state of Paraiba

These changes in the climate of Brazil are making itself felt with more frequently each year. The anomalies have been notable since the beginning of the second millennium. News about cyclones or snowfall in the southeast region of Brazil make think that the tropical country is no more so tropical. Someday, someone can wake at Rio de Janeiro and think that is at Norway, feeling the freezing winds on the face, looking a gray sky or, who knows, at Venice with the waters of a flood almost reaching the level of the window.
