💥 14th CENTURY MASTER YODA

ENGLAND/UK. At the British Library in London, curator of pre-1600 manuscripts Julian Harrison found, in an edition of the Decretums of Gregory IX (Pope, 1145–1241, pontificate from 1227 until his death in 1241) – dated 1340 – an astonishing illustration that faithfully reproduces the figure of the famous character from the Star Wars film series – Master Yoda.

The document contains the biblical story of Samson. Julian Harrison believes it is a coincidence that the illustrator of the document came to create an image that would become so popular centuries later.
However, what intrigues experts is that they found, throughout the text, not only a representation of Master Yoda's lookalike/precursor but also other enigmatic illustrations of strange creatures that resemble hybrid beings. The material where the figure of Master Yoda can be seen is available online at the British Library.
